The beginning of the song was actually quite beautiful. I did not feel hope, but there was anticipation. Anticipation, in that anything could happen, but it did feel a bit predisposed to oppression.
Around the 25 second mark, it began to build towards something, as if lifting out of the clouds. Which was amazing. But then the 31 second mark was a drop as if evil had returned suddenly. In a trailer, I would expect this to reveal the lowest point for the protagonist. However, it didn’t last long enough in my opinion, which admittedly was disappointing.
After that, however, there was a really gorgeous rise in action for a feel-good, hope-filled trailer. Even the later drops (I use that word, because I’m not a musician, and I don’t know what else to call it) only served to segway into an epic feel.
But then the song just stops. As I listened to the climax, I was left thinking, “Wait, that’s all?” A few more percussion beats at the end would have helped solidify an epic ending, or a return to something like the beginning chords would have left a all-ends-are-beginnings vibe, but as it stands, I felt unresolved.

Overall, I really got a real sense of that hope you were looking for and with a little polish, I think you could certainly make amazing music. ⅘ stars. Really well done. And I look forward to seeing what you accomplish in the future.

Yeah, the sudden stop is supposed to be like that. It leaves you wanting the rest of the song, and trailers do this sometimes when they don’t tie up all the loose ends. Thanks for the review though!
